Rustic Brown Beer is inspired by London Brown Ales from a time when English and Belgian brewing were more alike than different. Before we knew what yeast was and everything was a magical mixed culture. It pours a clear brown color with a chestnut head and notes of toffee, dried cherries, nutmeg, black currant, vanilla, and a surprising yet refreshing acidity.
This version was conditioned on Amburana wood for added notes of cinnamon, clove and vanilla.
