Bala - Table Saison Conditioned on 2nd Use Balaton Cherries

Bala is about getting the most out of the ingredients we source so meticulously. Specifically the beautiful Balaton Cherries we sourced from Mick Klug Farms for Finer Points Volume XV.

We knew the cherries had a lot more to give after we racked Finer Points off of them so we put a little table beer back on them, added our house blend of brettanomyces and mixed culture and let it condition for several months. The result is a delightfully pink beer with notes of tart cherry, white flowers, lemon zest, nutty malt character, and a subtle underpinning of tanned leather.

We only made 34 of these bottles of Bala and they are only available here though a limited number of kegs are making their way around the city and suburbs.
